I know y'all been waiting forever so here's the long awaited part 2! I hope I didn't disappoint cuz I'm half asleep typing this :/ Enjoy!


Nicki woke up early the next morning and took her mom, nieces and brother to the airport. After they were checked in, she hugged them and they boarded the plane. Nicki left the airport and headed to Drake's house a few minutes after their plane took off.

She arrived to Drake's house shortly after. Nicki walked in to find Drake teaching Scarlett how to play her piano in the living room with Simba lying on the floor next to them. Scarlett looked back to see Nicki making her way over to them. She quickly got up and dashed over to meet her.

"Nicki!" she yelled. Nicki picked her up and held her.

"Hey ladybug. What are you doing?" she asked knowingly.

"I play my piano" she said pointing to it. By then Drake got up and walked over to them. He kissed her lips softly then backed away.

"Good morning babe" he smiled.

"Good morning baby...give me another one"she demanded. Drake leaned in and kissed her lips again, this time more passionately and slowly than before while sucking on her bottom lip. Scarlett covered her eyes with her hands as they kissed. They broke away and stared at her. She still had her hands over her face. Nicki laughed as Drake smiled removing her hands from her face. Scarlett looked at the both of them curiously.

"Daddy you kiss Nicki" she said pointing between them.

"Yes I did princess. You want one too?" he asked. Scarlett shook her head and he kissed her as she giggled.
They all settled into the living room and watched TV. A couple hours passed and Scarlett fell asleep next to them on the couch.

"So what did your mom ask you last night?"Drake asked looking at Nicki.

"She asked me if we were having sex because she want a grandson" Nicki replied.

"Are you serious?" he asked smiling. Nicki nodded her head.

"Yup, can you believe her?" she said looking at him and scrunching up her face.

"Well we can definitely make that happen"he said kissing on her neck. Nicki gasped and looked at him rolling her eyes.

"Not you too" she said shaking her head. Drake shrugged. "I'm not having no babies anytime soon" she informed.

"Why not? I make pretty babies" he said looking down at Scarlett who was peacefully sleeping next to them.

"You know what?" she said getting up and rummaging through her purse. Drake stared at her while she did this. Nicki took out her pills and went into the kitchen grabbing a bottled water and taking it. Drake got up and walked over to her.

"What are you doing?" he asked quizzically.

"What does it look like I'm doing?" she said staring at him.

"Is that birth control?" he asked. Nicki shook her head.

"Yup" she said popping the 'p'.

"I hope you know that if you're just now taking it they won't work fast enough for this" he said leaning in and planting a soft kiss on her lips while lifting her up by her thighs. He stopped and stared at her smirking.

"If you don't put me down, imma hurt you" she said sternly. He smiled wide and started walking with her up the stairs. "Baby what about Scarlett?"she asked in a hushed tone. Drake stopped then turned to look at Scarlett still sleeping on the couch.

"She'll be fine" he said continuing up the stairs and kissing on her neck.

They got into the room and Drake locked the door before walking over to his bed. He gently laid her down and climbed on top of her. Drake kissed her lips as she moaned into his mouth. He started unzipping her jeans trying to get them off her. Nicki broke the kiss and playfully pushed him off.

"Baby stop! You're on punishment remember?" he smirked and kissed her again.

"I'm never on punishment" he said licking her ear.

"Oh yes you are nigga! I'm not playing wit'chu!" he stopped and stared deep into her eyes. He knew she was serious but he still wanted her now.

"So you're serious about this?" he asked.

"Yes!" she nodded. Drake sighed and plopped down on the bed next to her. Nicki turned her body towards him.

"Are you mad?" she asked him. Drake looked at her then pulled her body closer.

"I'm not mad but I'm disappointed that's all" she sighed and ran her hands through his curly locks.

"Baby I think we should just take our time. I'm not ready for any kids yet. I just want to enjoy our relationship with each other."

"I understand completely baby but that's not gonna stop me from wanting and needing you. I love you" he said sincerely.They both locked eyes before kissing again. Nicki broke away and got up from the bed.

"I'm going to put Scarlett in her room, I'll be back" she said exiting his room.

The sun was just about to start setting in the sky when Drake decided that they should take a walk. Nicki attached the leash around Simba's collar while Drake was suiting Scarlett up with her helmet, knee and arm pads because she wanted to ride her bike. He went into the garage to get her bicycle and rolled it outside as Nicki shut the door. Drake helped Scarlett get on her bike and she started paddling forward while they walked with Simba behind her.

"Daddy look!" she said paddling. Drake smiled with his arm wrapped around Nicki.

"I see princess, let's go this way" he pointed to his left. Simba walked alongside them with his tongue hanging out his mouth and wagging his tail from side to side. Scarlett had a hard time turning so Drake helped her out by steering her until they got on a straight path then she got the hang of it as they continued walking behind her.

After their walk Drake fed Scarlett and gave her a bath while Nicki was talking to Lauren on the phone.

"Faree and I have something to tell you guys" Nicki scrunched up her face and glanced at Drake who was putting on Scarlett's pajamas.

"Tell us what?" Nicki asked confused.

"We'll tell you guys at dinner" Lauren replied smiling.

"Ok, we'll get dressed now and meet you guys there" Nicki informed her.

"Ok see you later then"

"Alright"

"Bye" They both hung up.

"What was that all about?" Drake asked. Nicki looked at him.

"They want to go out to dinner as a double date. She said they have to tell us something important." she informed.

"Do you know what it is?" he asked.

"No, but she sounds happy that's for sure"

"Well that's a good sign but I wonder what it is?"

"We'll just have to wait until later on tonight" she shrugged.

"I'm gonna ask Forty if he could babysit while we're out" Drake said standing up and grabbing his phone from his pocket.

"Ok babe. I'm gonna go get something to wear from home and come back so we can take a bath and get dressed."

"Alright baby, drive careful" Drake replied.

"I will" They kissed and Nicki grabbed her purse from downstairs and left the house.

Drake immediately called Forty to ask him if he could babysit while they were out and he agreed.

After they were finished talking, he hung up and walked back into Scarlett’s room to find her sitting in front of her vanity mirror brushing her hair.

“Who are you getting pretty for?” he asked startling her in the process. Scarlett turned to look at him.

“Daddy I go out” she simply stated. Drake walked over to her and picked her up.

"With who?” he asked confused. Scarlett smiled before replying.

“I go out with you and Nicki” Drake scrunched up his face.

“I’m sorry princess but you have to stay home”

“Nooo, I don’t wanna stay home” she said shaking her head. Drake held her closer to him.

“It’s ok, uncle Forty is coming to watch movies, play with you and keep you company” he informed her. Scarlett just stared and pouted her lip. “You love uncle forty don’t you?” he asked. She shook her head yes. “Alright then, daddy and Nicki will be back before you know it” he reassured. Drake smiled which caused Scarlett to smile in return.

“Ok” she said as he kissed her and placed her on her two feet.

Drake left her room to play and went into his room to pick out his clothes to wear for their night out. He decided to keep it simple with a brown button down shirt and some black slacks and shoes. When he was finished, he made his way into his bathroom to start the water making sure it was at the perfect temperature. As the tub was filling, he lit a few candles and added vanilla scented body wash into the water and watched as it bubbled up. Soon the whole bathroom was filled with the sweet aroma. He then sprinkled a few rose petals into the water making it even more romantic. They had about two hours to get ready so he figured he’d go all out.

When the tub was filled, he turned off the water and went downstairs to fix up the living room before Forty arrived. The door opened a few moments later and Nicki appeared with a duffel bag just as he was finishing up. His eyes immediately lit up at the sight of her.

“What are you doing?” she asked placing her duffel bag down by her feet. He walked over to her smiling and picked her up.

“Tidying up” he said before kissing her on the lips. She smiled as he walked over to the couch and sat on the arm while she straddled him.

"Oh ok” she replied shyly. “Where is Scarlett?” she asked. He stopped kissing on her neck and responded.

“In her room…I missed you…so…much” he said between kisses. Nicki giggled.

“Babe I was only gone for an hour”

“I know that! I still missed you though” he said looking into her eyes. “And our bath is already made” he added. Nicki rolled her eyes and gave a dimpled smile. She didn’t know it but that simple action made him crave her.

“You’re so corny” she said as she pecked him softly on the lips. They broke away and locked eyes.

“And you love it” he said instantly.

“I do” she said smiling. “But you’re not slick at all” she said shaking her head laughing. Drake scrunched up his face.

“I’m not trying to be slick babe, I just want us to have a nice first bath together” he said sincerely.

“Mhmm” she squinted her eyes at him. Drake couldn't resist pecking her on the lips again so he did. That kiss was full of want and desire. While they were kissing the doorbell rang loud and clear. He groaned as they back away from each other.

“That’s probably Noah” he said signaling her to get up. Nicki stood to her feet and watched as he walked to the door and let him in.

"Hey guys” 40 greeted them with a chipper smile.

“What’s up ma man?” Drake dapped him up and closed the door as he went to hug Nicki.

“Where’s my niece?” Noah asked. Drake pointed upstairs.

“She’s in her room” he replied. Forty nodded and ascended the stairs with Drake and Nicki following not too far behind.

They immediately went into his room to start getting ready while 40 went to Scarlett’s room. Drake sat her duffel bag in his walk-in closet before they both made their way to his bathroom. Nicki was taken aback when she stepped inside to see how romantic it looked. She turned to look at him and smiled.

“You did all this?” she asked shocked. He nodded his head and closed in the gap between them as he wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer.

“And it’s waiting on us” he whispered in her ear.

The sound of his deep baritone voice made her body tingled with a wave of electricity running through her. She blushed and he smiled. Drake undressed himself before slowly undressing Nicki in front of the mirror. She watched as he took his time undressing her with his hands softly caressing every facet of her petite frame. He watched her watching him do this and their eyes locked as he let her bra fall to the floor. He smiled looking at her naked body in the mirror and kissed her neck all the way up to her earlobe. Nicki turned to face him and wrapped her arms around his neck as her heart fluttered. Drake noticed as her breathing became more shallow than ever before. He had dreamed of seeing her like this for a while now and he couldn’t put into words how amazing it felt having her nude body in his arms like this.

“I never thought you could be any more beautiful but DAMN!” he said to her. This caused a permanent smile on her face. She was falling hard for him and she couldn’t explain why but at that moment, she didn’t want to. His hand traveled to her plump backside and gave it a light squeeze as she uttered a soft moan. He smirked and picked her up before walking over to the Jacuzzi tub.

When they got in, the water was still warm to the touch. Drake helped Nicki in then he got in behind her. She straddled him and kissed him softly on the lips. Little did she know that was all it took from her to make his hormones race and in no time he was fully erected. She smirked as she felt his manhood rise beneath her.

“Look what you did” he said looking down. She laughed.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about sir” she said lying.

Why is she teasing me he thought? Drake shook his head while grabbing the sponge and began washing her body slowly as she stared at him lustfully. He smirked and finished bathing her then he reached for one of the towels. She stood up and he wrapped it around her and helped her out after kissing her again.

When she turned to leave he slapped her on the butt. Nicki turned around and eyed him.

“That’s what you get for leaving me like this” he said looking down. Nicki didn’t say anything she just turned around and intentionally sashayed her way to his bedroom to get dressed.

After Drake finished his bath, he wrapped a towel around his waist and exited the bathroom to see Nicki applying lotion to her skin with her bra and panties on.

“Aww man I missed the show” he said shaking his head in disbelief.

“Boy stop!” Nicki said grabbing her red skin tight dress that stopped mid-thigh from off the bed.

After they were dressed, Drake helped Nicki in her black sling-back pumps that were red bottoms since he was ready. Nicki had kept it simple with a black long bob and very little make-up which Drake liked. She stood up and walked over to his mirror and applied her red lipstick as Drake admired her.

“Ok I’m done” she stated turning around to face him. He smiled at her.

“You look beautiful baby” he said pecking her on the lips.

“Thank you baby” she said grabbing her clutch as Drake grabbed his phone and keys from the nightstand.

They heard giggling and made their way downstairs to find 40 and Scarlett in the living room reading a book. When they approached them, Scarlett ran to her father and Drake happily scooped her up.

“Daddy!” she yelled.

“Hey princess” he said kissing her cheek.

“Well, look at you two lovebirds" he said looking at them smiling. Nicki smiled back.

“Thanks for watching her" Drake said looking at Scarlett.

"No problem man. Go out and enjoy yourselves she'll be just fine" 40 smiled.

"Alright, call me if anything.” Drake turned to Scarlett. “And you be a good girl for uncle, ok?” Scarlett nodded her head. Drake gave her another kiss. “Can you give Nicki a kiss bye too?” he asked. Scarlett leaned forward still in his arms kissing Nicki on the cheek.

"Thank you ladybug"

“Aww” 40 smiled and Drake did too before putting her down on her two feet. Drake grabbed Nicki’s hand and they both walked to the door.

“Bye Bye Daddy, Bye Nicki” Scarlett waved.

“Bye" they said in unison.

“Have fun you two” 40 added before they walked out the door to Drake’s black Range Rover.

The ride to the restaurant was fairly quiet. Drake intertwined her hand with his and kissed it. Nicki remained quiet trapped in her thoughts.

“Is something wrong?” he asked worried. Nicki broke her trance that she was in and looked at him before smiling.

“No baby. Why’d you ask?” she said softly.

“You’ve been quiet ever since we left. I’m just making sure you’re alright” he informed.

“I’m fine baby”

“OK, just making sure” They remained silent for the rest of the way. Drake knew something was on her mind but he decided just to let her tell him when she was ready.

They pulled up to the restaurant a few minutes later and he got out before he helped her out of the car. They walked hand in hand inside and were greeted by a tall, slim waiter. Drake introduced them and the waiter showed them to their table where Lauren and Safaree were already waiting for them. They all greeted each other and sat down. After ordering their drinks and food they began having small conversation.

"So what's been going on with you two lately. We don't see you guys as much anymore" Lauren spoke up.

"Umm, we're not the one's that's been missing in action!" Nicki said glaring at Safaree. She missed her friends but she understood that they needed to live their lives just like she needed to live hers as well.

"Well we just came from New York. Had to visit the family you know" Safaree said looking to Lauren. Nicki and Drake nodded their head in agreement.

“You guys sure look happy” Lauren winked at Nicki. Drake looked to Nicki and smiled before she leaned in and pecked him on the lips. When Nicki pulled away she was blushing again.

"We are" she said giving him a dimpled smiled remembering certain events that happened shortly after Scarlett's party.

"Mhmm... I bet!" Nicki smiled even wider.

“So what’s the news?” Nicki said getting straight to the point. She couldn’t wait anymore. Lauren and Safaree looked at each other and smiled. Nicki was getting anxious and Drake could tell.

“You guys better tell her before she has an anxiety attack” he joked. Nicki playfully hit him in the arm.

“Am not!” Safaree laughed.

“Ok, ok” he started. The waiter came back with their food and they began eating.

“Lauren why don't you tell them” he said looking to her. Nicki took a bite of her food and stared at them. Lauren raised her left hand to reveal her engagement ring. Nicki almost choked on her food. Drake patted her back.

"You alright babe?" he asked. She waved him off as Safaree sat back and watched her facial expression. He laughed.

"When? How? OH MY GOD!" Nicki couldn't contain herself. So many questions had to be answered.

"Faree proposed to me at Scarlett's birthday party right when they started the fireworks show. Believe me I wasn't expecting it at all! I was stunned literally and couldn't say anything for awhile." She glanced at him. "I said yes after about four minutes and I could tell he was getting nervous but he looked into my eyes and I knew I had to say something because his knees probably were beginning to bruise from kneeling so long" she laughed. "I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him" Safaree kissed her temple as she teared up. Nicki got up and hugged her shoulders. She knew Lauren wanted this for a long time and finally it happened. She was happy for them both.

"Congrats man" Drake said over the table as he and Safaree lifted their glass to toast. "I wish y'all nothing but happiness" he said before they both took a swig of their drink. By then Nicki had returned to her seat.

"So that's why y'all up and left for New York and ain't tell nobody" They both shook their heads.

"We had to break the news to our parents and of course they support us" Safaree informed. "But that ain't all" he added.

Nicki and Drake stared at them blankly.

"You mean to tell me there's more?" Nicki asked shocked. They nodded again.

"We're officially moved to LA!" Lauren said excited.

"WAIT! What do you mean exactly?" Nicki asked.

"We just bought a house here. But It's not completely furnished yet, we're still waiting for the rest of the furniture but our bedroom is already set up"

"Are you serious?"

"Yup" Safaree nodded while eating his food.

"OMG you guys! Next thing you'll be telling us that y'all are expecting" she joked while eating her food. Everything got quiet, too quiet! Nicki looked up at her friends across the table and raised and furrowed her her brow.

"Safaree...Lauren" she said eyeing them. They still remained quiet. She looked at Drake and he shrugged then she focused her gaze on them again. "You're not pregnant are you?" she asked Lauren. Lauren felt her eyes on her. She suddenly needed to use the restroom so she excused herself before making a dash toward the bathroom. Nicki sat there stunned. She looked at Safaree and cleared her throat while crossing her arms over her chest as Drake watched the scene unfold. The air at the table suddenly became dense. Safaree looked up at her and wiped his mouth with the napkin before responding.

"She is pregnant" he finally said. "Five weeks to be exact" he added. Nicki covered her mouth with her hand, shocked once again.

"Safaree you didn't propose because she's pregnant did you?" she asked seriously. He shook his head no.

"We found out right after I proposed when we went to New York" he stated. "I love her so much and I'm so happy about our baby but she's scared because...you know" he drifted off.

Nicki got up from the table.

"I'll be right back baby. Imma go check on her" she said kissing Drake.

Nicki power walked to the restroom to find Lauren. She knew that her and Safaree came so far from their younger days and that they both should be celebrating their new life together but she knew that babies were a touchy subject for her. She just wanted her to be happy.

Nicki entered the bathroom and found Lauren curled up in a corner. He eyes were visibly red and her cheeks were stained with warm tears. She pulled her up to give her a hug.

"Shh... It's gonna be OK" she said trying to console her friend while rubbing her back softly. Lauren cried onto her shoulder making it wet with tears but she didn't care. "Everything is gonna be alright"

Lauren pulled back a bit, "I'm so scared" she cried.

"I know you are but don't let it bring you down babe. Safaree loves you and you guys are engaged. You should be happy at a time like this. Don't focus on what happened in the past, focus on you're future. None of it was your fault so don't blame yourself, ok?" Nicki said looking at her. Lauren nodded her head. "Promise me you won't blame yourself"

"I promise"

"Good cause I can't wait to see my god baby" she smiled. Lauren cracked a smile too. "See that's more like it" she said grabbing her some tissue so she could wipe her face. Lauren eventually calmed down. "So what do you think it is?" Nicki asked.

"I don't know but I'm thinking a girl. A boy would be nice too though. I just want it to be healthy"

"For the sake of you I'm praying that baby don't have Faree's head because if it does you're in trouble" she laughed.

"I know right!" Lauren chuckled before pausing. "Thank you"

"Anytime" she said giving her one big hug. "Come on let's get outta here!" she said as they exited the restroom.

When they arrived back to the table the saw their men laughing and chatting.

"What are you guys talking about? "

"Just guy stuff" Drake replied standing up. "Y'all ready to go?" Safaree wrapped his arms around Lauren and kissed her temple.

"You Ok?" She nodded.

They all said their goodbyes and left the restaurant.


Safaree and Lauren were headed back home. Lauren had been quiet the whole ride and just staring out the car window deep in thought. Safaree glanced over at her and noticed that something seemed to be bothering her. He reached over and rubbed her stomach in small circles gently. She looked down at his hand placed on her barely there bump and she sighed looking back out the window. It was pitch black outside but she couldn’t help but stare into the darkness as her mind wondered. Talking with Nicki did make her feel a little better but she still was worried if the baby would make it this time. All the pain and hurt she felt after the miscarriage was slowly coming back. She didn’t want to get her hopes up and be let down again.

Safaree grabbed her hand gently and brought it up to his lips to kiss it. Lauren slowly took her hand from his grasp and placed it back in her lap. Safaree knew that she was thinking about the miscarriage again even though he had expressed countless times that it wasn’t her fault and that she shouldn’t blame herself for it, she did.

They pulled up at their new house minutes later and Lauren got out quickly shutting the door behind her and walking into the house. Safaree sighed and went after her.

“Baby” he called but received no answer. He placed his keys on the kitchen counter and made his way to their room. He opened the door to find her already in bed facing away from him. He entered and closed the door. Safaree walked over to the side of the bed that she was lying on. He sat down next to her and caressed her shoulder as tears escaped from her eyes one by one dropping on the pillow that was placed under her head. Lauren quickly wiped them away as they came trying not to let her emotions get the best of her again but it proved to be too much for her to handle at the moment.

Safaree took off his shoes and climbed in the bed next to her. He laid down while facing her and stared at her. Lauren had her yes closed but that didn’t make the tears stop flowing. He hugged her body closely while rubbing her back. They stayed like that for a while; neither of them saying a word. Safaree hated seeing her like this and he secretly blamed himself for her miscarriage along with the hurt and pain she endured. He reached up and wiped her tears as her eyes remained closed.

“Baby I’m sorry” he apologized. Lauren opened her watery eyes and looked at him.

“There’s no need to be sorry” she said looking him in the eyes. “I’ll be fine” she added. Safaree kissed her lips softly. He broke away and stared at her for a minute.

“You’re scared aren’t you?" he asked concerned. She's shook her head.

“Faree what if the same thing happens again” Safaree shook his head placed his hand on her stomach.

“Babe don’t think like that!”

“I don’t know if I can go through that all over again” she cried.

“Our baby will make it; we just have to believe that it will. I don’t want you to blame yourself for what happened before I wish I was there to help you through that but I wasn’t and I regret that. This time I want you to know that I’m not going anywhere and that I love you and our baby. I want to be with you through everything from doctor’s appointments, and run out to get you whatever you need for your weird cravings even if I’m tired” Lauren smiled. “See I got you to smile. I know we didn’t exactly plan this but then again I guess that’s just the way it was meant to be” Lauren remembered what Nicki said and she promised her she wouldn't blame herself anymore and she wasn't. She wanted to move passed it and relish her new found love.

“I love you” Lauren mouthed. Safaree smiled and rubbed her stomach gently.

“I love you too” he said before kissing her on the lips. Safaree leaned down and kissed her stomach. “Both of you” he added. Lauren looked down and smiled as he rested his head on her stomach and they both succumbed to sleep moments later.
